All of our products are made to order. Embroidered Collars & Leads are dispatched from Camperdown within 2-5 working days. Customised bowls are dispatched within 7-14 working days. Notification will be emailed to you when your order has been shipped.
All our orders are shipped via Australia Post within 2-5 working days of receipt. You can choose standard or express shipping and you will receive a tracking number for your parcel upon dispatch. Please check Australia Post website for their delivery times as they do differ from state to state.

We cannot be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged parcels once they have been dispatched. We advise contacting Australia Post in the first instance, quoting the tracking number provided by us.
All our products are custom made. As there is limited space on the smaller Bowls & Collars sizes it may need to be adapted. Collars 10 letters & 10 numbers. Bowls the font can be reduced to fit. Please email janet@porters4pets.com.au with any questions.

Our Bowls are made of a quality melamine with stainless steel insert bowl. The Vinyl applied is graded for 5 years outside. As the bowls maybe pushed around with enthusiastic eaters, we cannot guarantee damage by teeth and walls to the bowls and applied lettering. Our bowls are dishwater safe, but NOT microwave safe. They have rubber strips on bottom to stop sliding which can NEVER be microwaved.
All components of our collars have a 12-month guarantee. This guarantee is not applicable to any item which has been chewed, damaged during play or generally neglected.
If you feel there is a problem or fault with your purchase, please contact us via email, preferably attaching a picture of the item so we can remedy the situation as quickly as possible. If your item is deemed faulty or not as described a replacement will be offered as per Australian Consumer Law.
Due to our Collars & Leads being embroidered with your personal details please choose your sizing, style and colour carefully as we cannot accept returns or exchanges on these items. We do not offer returns on our customised items as these have been made specifically for you and cannot be resold. Please ensure that you measure your pet correctly and choose the size according to our specific size guides as not all manufactures are the same.
A proper fit is a must for everyone! You will want to measure around your Dog & Cats neck for collars then add a two-finger space gap for comfort. Our sizing chart will help you get that right fit. When you have your pet’s measurements compare with the collar size guide. Eg. If your dog measures 38 cm around their neck then you add two fingers and it becomes 40 cm therefore a Medium or Wide Medium collar is suitable because it fits within the adjustable range of 35-45 cm.
We recommend you choose contrasting colours for your lettering on both collars and bowls. Dark on dark colours may not be clearly visible.
Wash your pets bowl in warm, soapy water. The bowl can be washed in the dishwasher, but we recommend handwashing to maintain the longer life of the bowl and lettering.
When your pet's collar or lead needs cleaning, place it in a wash bag in the washing machine or soak in soapy water and line dry. Our collars are swim-friendly, however when they do get wet, we recommend a good rinse in clean soapy water. Rinsing is especially important after saltwater exposure, to avoid the appearance of salt lines in the fabric. Our new collars have stainless steel D Rings so they are rust resistance. Caution is advised with leads, as exposure to salt water has been known to cause the clips to stiffen. A drop of oil in the mechanism can usually remedy this.

Our bowls & vinyls are sourced from local Sydney businesses and the design of graphics and application are all done in our small cottage industry base in Camperdown, in the City of Sydney, NSW, Australia. The Dog/Cat collars & leads are also sewn in Camperdown. We source some items from overseas that are not manufactured in Australia, but we go local when we can. Our Pet palings/Kennel Signs are 100% locally made from recycled timber. Each kennel sign is handwritten (not machine) and made to order, so they are all very unique.
